Charleston Southern charges back to beat Campbell 74-71

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Saah Nimley hit a 3-pointer and Cedrick Bowen slammed home a dunk in the final seconds to give Charleston Southern a 74-71 win over Campbell in Big South Conference action Monday night.

Trailing 71-67 Charleston Southern scored 7 points in the final 43 seconds to secure the win. Nimley, who finished with 22 points, hit the trey and followed with two free throws before Bowen's dunk.

Nimley made 8 of 21 from the floor and pulled down 10 rebounds, Will Saunders tied his career-high with 6 3-pointers for 18 points and Arlon Harper added 17 for Charleston Southern (7-6, 1-1).

Andrew Ryan, who made 6 of 9 from long range, had 22 points and Troy Harper added 18 for Campbell (7-8, 1-1).

Charleston Southern won the battle underneath, scoring 26 points in the paint compared to 22 for the Camels and outrebounded Campbell 43-35.
