SFA wins 11th straight 81-66 over SE Louisiana

NACOGDOCHES, La. (AP) Thomas Walkup and Jacob Parker each had double-doubles and Stephen F. Austin won its 20th straight Southland Conference game, 81-66 over Southeastern Louisiana on Monday night.

Walkup finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists while Parker had 15 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. The Lumberjacks (12-3, 2-0), who also won their 11th straight overall, held a double-digit lead throughout the second half.

Ty Charles added 14 points and four steals for the Lumberjacks.

SE Louisiana (3-11, 0-1) took its only lead of the game at 17-16 on Dylon Maggio's three-point play with 11:28 left in the first half. SFA answered with a 15-2 run capped by Bobby King's jumper at 31-19.

Zay Jackson missed all six of his 3-point attempts but led the Lions with 18 points. Andrew Guillory scored 11 and Cedric Jenkins added 10.
