UT-Pan American beats Our Lady of the Lake 87-78

EDINBURG, Texas (AP) Shaquille Boga scored 29 points and led three other Texas Pan American players in double figures as the Broncs held off NAIA school Our Lady of the Lake 87-78 on Wednesday night.

Janari Joesaar had 20 points and 13 rebounds, Dan Kimasa finished with 13 points and Shaquille Hines added 10 for the Broncs (6-9).

The Saints led by as many as nine points in the first half, but UT-Pan American scored five-straight before the break to trail by just one.

The Broncs carved out a nine-point lead with 6:50 left to play. Three-straight 3's by Lady of the Lake tied up the score with 4:23 to go. Boga made seven of the Broncs final 17 points, and the team went 8 of 10 from the line to end it.

De'Quentin Greer led the Saints with 20 points, Daniel Skinner chipped in 19 and Darion Brown finished with 10 assists.
