Bolomboy, Senglin pace Weber St. past Montana 68-60

OGDEN, Utah (AP) Joel Bolomboy had 16 points with nine rebounds as Weber State defeated Montana 68-60 on Thursday night to earn its first Big Sky Conference win of the season.

Jeremy Senglin chipped in 16 points with five assists and Ryan Richardson had 10 points for the Wildcats (6-8, 1-2), who rebounded from conference-opening losses to Eastern Washington and Idaho. Weber State shot 53.3 percent from the field.

Martin Breunig carried Montana (5-8, 2-1), finishing with 31 points and seven rebounds while Jordan Gregory added 13 points, six rebounds and six assists. Breunig was 14 of 18 from the floor while the rest of the Grizzlies were a combined 10 of 37 overall.

Bolomboy had two layups, a 3-pointer and a jumper late in the first half to move toward a 30-23 lead at the break. Weber State pushed to its largest lead of 19 after Kyndahl Hill's 3-pointer with 9:29 remaining.
