Columbia crushes Central Penn College 112-63

NEW YORK (AP) Maodo Lo scored 20 points on a near perfect 7 of 8 shooting from the field to lead Columbia to a 112-63 victory over CentralConnecticut College on Saturday night.

Kyle Castlin finished with 16 points and five rebounds for the Lions (8-6), and Kendall Jackson came off the bench to add 15 points and a pair of steals.

Overall 11 different players scored for Columbia, which shot 53.6 percent from the field, hit 16 total 3-pointers, and finished 22 for 26 at the free throw line.

Devon Dorsey scored 15 points to lead the Knights, who shot 49.1 percent from the field but were done in by 24 turnovers. Andre Batte added 12 points for Central Connecticut College.

The Lions led 57-25 at halftime.
