South Dakota State runs away from Omaha 87-68

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) George Marshall scored a career-high 25 points and South Dakota State ran away from Nebraska-Omaha 87-68 on Saturday.

Marshall was 10 of 18 from the floor and made 5 of 8 3-point attempts. Reed Tellinghuisen added 19 points, Deondre Parks had 18, and Cody Larson chipped in with 11 points and seven boards.

South Dakota State (11-7, 2-2 Summit League) led by one with 5:42 left in the first half but closed on a 12-5 run - including Marshall's 3-pointer - to lead 41-32 at the break.

The Jackrabbits used a 10-point run midway through the second half - including Tellinghuisen's 3-pointer - to push the lead to 21 and they cruised to the victory.

Tre'Shawn Thurman and Jake White led Omaha (7-9, 1-3) with 12 points apiece. Mike Rostampour had 11 points with 13 rebounds.
