Wisconsin senior center Frank Kaminsky will not play in Sunday's game against Rutgers, the team announced

Kaminsky missed practice on both Friday and Saturday after sustaining a blow to the head against Purdue on Wednesday and was being treated for concussion-like symptoms. 

Earlier Sunday, the Wisconsin State Journal​ reported that Kaminsky participated in the team's shoot-around Sunday's morning and would be a game-time decision.

Kaminsky, the preseason Big Ten Player of the Year pick, is averaging 16.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists this season for the Badgers. 

No. 4 Wisconsin (15-1) plays Rutgers (9-7) in Piscataway, N.J., at 6 p.m. ET Sunday.
