Northeastern pulls away in 91-83 win over Hofstra

BOSTON (AP) David Walker sank four 3-pointers and hit all 10 shots from the foul line to lift hot-shooting Northeastern to a 91-83 win over Hofstra on Wednesday night.

Walker finished 4 of 6 from the floor with 22 points and also dished out four assists. Scott Eatherton contributed 21 points, while T.J. Williams added 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Zach Stahl had 13 points to help Northeastern (12-5, 4-1 Colonial Athletic Conference) to its third straight win.

The Huskies, who shot 64 percent from the floor on 47 attempts and sank 5 of 10 from long range, pulled away late in the second half with an 11-0 run sparked by Walker's 3-pointer to make it 79-69 with 5:48 left.

Juan'ya Green led Hofstra (13-5, 4-1) with 18 points and 11 assists, while Ameen Tanksley added 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Moussa Kone had 12 points.
