SE Missouri State defeats Jacksonville State 69-52

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) Jamaal Calvin and Jarekious Bradley scored 13 points apiece, pacing Southeast Missouri State to a 69-52 victory over Jacksonville State on Wednesday night.

Aaron Adeoye finished with 10 points and Nino Johnson added nine with 12 rebounds for the Redhawks (8-10, 2-3 Ohio Valley), who shot 44 percent from the field. Bradley and Calvin each hit three of SE Missouri State's nine 3-pointers and Bradley grabbed seven boards.

Darion Rackley scored 15 points and D.J. Felder had 12 with eight rebounds, but Jacksonville State's top scorers this season were held to a combined 6 of 23 from the floor. The Gamecocks shot just 24.1 percent in the opening half and 29.1 overall.

The Redhawks led 29-22 at halftime. Antonius Cleveland and Bradley each sank a 3-pointer during a 20-10 surge that gave SE Missouri State its largest lead, 55-36 with 8:34 remaining.
