Holden leads Delaware over Towson in OT 67-64

NEWARK, Del. (AP) Kory Holden scored 24 points and had six assists, including a key one in overtime, as Delaware beat Towson 67-64 on Wednesday night.

Trailing by four with three minutes left in overtime, Delaware's Kyle Anderson, who finished with 12 points, made two free throws and Marvin King-Davis added two more to tie the game with 2:19 remaining. With 1:07 left, Holden drove to the basket and dished off to King-Davis for a dunk and a two-point lead. Devonne Pinkard blocked a layup by Towson's Four McGlynn, Holden was fouled and he made a free throw to make it 67-64. Delaware deflected two shots and Towson missed a long three on its final attempt.

Cazmon Hayes also scored 12 points for Delaware (3-13, 2-3 Colonial Athletic Association), which scored the final four points of regulation.

John Davis scored 18 points, Byron Hawkins 12 and McGlynn 11 for Towson (8-10, 1-4).
