Watch: Wyoming's Larry Nance Jr. throws down monster dunk vs. SDSU
Wyoming forward Larry Nance Jr. threw down a powerful dunk during Wednesday night's game against San Diego State.
With about seven minutes remaining in the first half, Nance caught the ball just outside the three-point line and turned to find himself faced with a two-on-one scenario. As a teammate ran toward the basket from the opposite side of the court, Nance approached Aztecs forward Skylar Spencer, who stood in the middle of the lane.
Nance picked up his dribble, leapt off two feet and powered through Spencer as he cupped the ball with one hand and flushed it through the net.

The dunk narrowed San Diego State's lead to 17-12.
This isn't the first time Nance has drawn national attention for a dunk. In a game against Colorado in November, Nance finished an impressive one-handed alley-oop jam.
Nance is the son of former Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance, who won the first edition of the NBA dunk contest in 1984.

Over 17 games for the Cowboys this season, Nance Jr. is averaging a team-high 15.8 points and 6.7 rebounds. The senior missed part of last year's campaign with a torn ACL but recovered for the start of this season and has helped the Cowboys to a 15-2 record and a 4-0 mark in MWC play entering Wednesday.
