Manhattan pulls away from St. Peter's 72-65 in overtime

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) Emmy Andujar scored 22 points, Shane Richards added 21 and Manhattan made all six free throws in the final 24 seconds of overtime to beat St. Peter's 72-65 on Friday night.

Andujar scored five of his point in the extra period including a three-point play with 3:42 left that gave the Jaspers (8-8, 5-2 Metro Atlantic) the lead for good at 62-59.

Andujar added a pair of free throws to stretch the lead to five with 24 seconds left and Wyche Trevis' jumper seven seconds later capped scoring for the Peacocks (9-10, 3-5) at 68-65.

Manhattan used a 10-2 run to pull ahead 56-51 with 3:45 left in the second half, but St. Peter's rallied back and Desi Washington's layup with eight seconds left forced overtime tied at 59.

Marvin Dominique had 16 points to lead the Peacocks. Elias Desport added 11 and Washington scored 10.
