Hartford rallies past UMass Lowell in OT, 68-62

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Hartford held UMass Lowell scoreless for the first three minutes of overtime to pull out a 68-62 America East Conference victory Saturday night.

Up by seven at the half, Hartford (10-7, 3-1 America East) trailed by five with under 6 minutes to play. Justin Graham drilled a 3-pointer with :26 left to tie the game at 54-54 and force overtime.

Yolonzo Moore II and Mark Nwakamma both made layups to give Hartford a four-point lead, and the Hawks closed the game out from the free- throw line.

Nwakamma had 20 points to lead Hartford. Graham contributed 13 points and Corban Wroe 11.

Hartford is tied with Stony Brook, one game behind leaders Albany and Vermont which are both undefeated in conference play (4-0).

UMass Lowell (9-9, 3-2) was led by Jahad Thomas' 16 points. Matt Harris added 14 points and Lance Crawford contributed 11.
