South Dakota St beats South Dakota 71-57

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) Reed Tellinghuisen and Deondre Parks each scored 15 points as South Dakota State rallied back from a 20-0 deficit to beat South Dakota 71-57 on Saturday.

South Dakota State (13-7, 4-2 Summit) missed its first 12 shot attempts and didn't score until Cody Larson's basket with 12:24 left in the first half. The Jackrabbits then went on a 31-9 run to lead by two points at the break.

The first 10 minutes of the second half saw seven lead changes and two ties. George Marshall made a 3 with 10:11 left on the clock to put South Dakota State back in front. Trailing by two with 7:45 left to play, the Coyotes scored just three points over the next 5:45, allowing South Dakota State into a double-digit lead.

Brandon Bos scored 18 points to lead the Coyotes (9-10, 3-2), and Tyler Larson added 12 with 12 boards.
