Alabama's Ryan Anderson charged with third-degree domestic violence

Alabama junior linebacker Ryan Anderson was arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence, criminal mischief, by Tuscaloosa, Ala., police on Tuesday, online records show.
Alabama law states that criminal mischief in the third degree occurs for property damage of $500 or less when a person has intent to damage property and has "no right to do so or any reasonable ground to believe that he or she has such a right."
Anderson was being held on $500 bond in Tuscaloosa County jail on Tuesday, records show.
The junior had 25 tackles, nine quarterback hurries and three sacks last season for the Crimson Tide. A native of Daphne, Ala., Anderson is a former four-star recruit and redshirted his freshman season at the school.
