Hunter, Georgia State beat Arkansas State 60-54

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) R.J. Hunter scored 14 of his 23 points in the final 5:30, and grabbed eight rebounds, to lead Georgia State to a 60-54 win over Arkansas State on Monday night.

Kevin Ware added 10 points and Markus Crider had 10 rebounds for Georgia State (12-7, 5-3 Sun Belt), which was without Ryan Harrow - the team's leading scorer (20.4 per game) - who was suspended by the university.

Anthony Livingston made a pair of free throws with to pull Arkansas State (8-9, 3-5) within one 33 seconds left.

Hunter answered with two free throws to make it 57-54 and, after Cameron Golden missed a 3 on the other end, Crider made 1 of 2 from the stripe, pushing the Georgia State lead to four with 20 seconds remaining.

Arkansas State missed another 3 before Hunter made two free throws to seal it.

Anthony Livingston had 20 points and 13 rebounds for Arkansas State, which shot just 29.8 percent. Sean Gardner added 19 points.
