East Tennessee State overpowers Tusculum 90-52

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) Rashawn Rembert hit five 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to propel East Tennessee State to a 90-52 win over Tusculum on Monday night.

Jalen Riley added 17 points, while Devin Harris and Lester Wilson had 11 apiece for ETSU (11-6), which shot 49 percent from the floor on 68 attempts and controlled the boards 50-34. Harris hauled in 11 of those rebounds and Wilson had 10.

The Buccaneers, who never trailed, broke away early in the first half with an 11-0 burst that included a 3-pointer from Wilson to make it 19-5 with 12:59 left before the break and the margin remained at double figures the rest of the game.

Javon Price led Tusculum, a Division II program, with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Chase Mounce added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers, who went 17 of 62 (27 percent) from the field.
