South Dakota State beats IPFW 82-53

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) Cody Larson, Deondre Parks and Jake Bittle each scored 12 points as South Dakota State rolled past IPFW for an 82-53 victory on Wednesday night.

Larson had all 12 of his points in the first half to help South Dakota State (14-7, 5-2 Summit League) build a 42-18 lead at the break. The Jackrabbits led by no less than 20 points in the second half.

George Marshall added 11 points and Ian Theisen 10 for South Dakota State.

IPFW (8-11, 1-5) had eight turnovers during a scoreless stretch of nearly seven minutes while South Dakota State scored 19 straight to go ahead 36-12. Steve Forbes' free throws broke the drought at 5:07 and Max Landis had the first field goal for the Mastodons in over 10 minutes with 1:22 left in the half.

Mo Evans and Forbes led the Mastodons with nine points each.
