South Dakota beats Western Illinois 68-58

MACOMB, Ill. (AP) Brandon Bos scored 14 points, Eric Robertson added 12 and South Dakota rallied back from a halftime deficit to beat Western Illinois 68-58 on Thursday night.

The Leathernecks closed the first half on a 10-2 run to lead by eight points at intermission. Tyler Larson tied it at 37-all for South Dakota with 13:01 left to play and the Coyotes controlled the game from there, leading by as many as 15 points with 4:43 left on the clock.

Robertson scored nine of his points in the second half, while Bos scored 10 of his 14 before the break. Sekou Harris added 10 points and Larson finished with eight for the Coyotes (10-10, 4-2 Summit).

J.C. Fuller scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, and Garret Covington added 15 for the Leathernecks (7-11, 2-5).
