North Carolina guard/forward Theo Pinson is out indefinitely after fracturing the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot, the school announced on Friday.

Pinson suffered the injury during the first half of the Tar Heels' Jan. 21 win at Wake Forest.

Over 19 games this season, Pinson has averaged 3.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game.

The freshman was rated a five-star recruit out of Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, N.C.

North Carolina is dealing with several other injured players, including guards Nate Britt and Joel Berry II.

Berry, who is battling a groin injury, will not play in Saturday's game against Florida State, and Britt, who suffered a lacerated lip, is questionable.
