Bucknell beats Boston U 92-77 for 4th straight win

BOSTON (AP) Chris Hass scored 28 points and Stephen Brown added a career-high 15 as Bucknell ran its win streak to four in a row, defeating Boston U 92-77 on Saturday.

The Bison (11-10, 6-2 Patriot) are tied with Colgate (9-12, 6-2) for first place in league. Boston U (8-11, 4-4) fell behind preseason favorite American (11-8, 4-3).

Hass sank 10 of 16 shots, including six 3-pointers, as Bucknell shot 56 percent from the floor (32-57), bettering 50-percent shooting for the fourth time in five games. Brown was 4 of 5, also sinking a pair of 3s.

John Papale led the Terriers with 22 points, Cedric Hankerson and Nathan Dieudonne added 15 apiece.

The Bison led 17-5 early, but Boston stormed back on a 35-25 pace to trail 42-40 at halftime.

Bucknell opened the second half with a 10-4 burst, featuring 3-pointers from Hass and Brown, opening a lead they wouldn't surrender.
