Mount St. Mary's beats St. Francis (Pa) 52-40

EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) Junior Robinson scored 10 points, Byron Ashe added nine, and Mount St. Mary's beat St. Francis (Pa.) 52-40 on Saturday, handing the Red Flash their third straight loss and their ninth straight loss to the Mountaineers.

Gregory Graves scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds for Mount St. Mary's (9-10, 5-3 Northeast), who has held each of its past six opponents to under 65 points.

St. Francis led 11-7 on a 3 by Malik Harmon, but the Mountaineers stayed close and there were five lead changes before Chris Martin made a jumper with seven seconds left to give Mount St. Mary's a 23-22 halftime lead.

The Red Flash went scoreless for four minutes and the Mountaineers led 40-31 with 7:50 left after a layup by Taylor Danaher. Robinson scored the game's final seven points for the Mountaineers.

Harmon led the Red Flash (10-9, 4-4) with 15 points and Earl Brown had 13 points and 13 boards.
