Kentucky, Virginia remain atop AP poll; Villanova falls to No. 7
Kentucky, Virginia and Gonzaga remained Nos. 1-3 in the latest Associated Press poll released Monday, while Villanova fell to No. 7.
The Wildcats remained in the top spot after defeating Vanderbilt and South Carolina last week. Kentucky plays at Missouri on Thursday and hosts Alabama on Saturday.
Virginia is No. 2 for the third straight week, moving to 19-0 with wins over Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. The Cavaliers defeated the rival Hokies by three points on the road thanks to a late 12-0 run. Gonzaga remained No. 3 after wins over Saint Mary's and Pacific.
Duke, Wisconsin and Arizona all jumped one spot with Villanova falling. The Wildcats lost at Georgetown 78-58 last week before rebounding with a 71-50 win over Creighton. Georgetown re-joined the top 25 with a five-spot jump to No. 21.

Miami (No. 23) and Butler (No. 25) also climbed into the top 25, while Dayton, Seton Hall and Iowa dropped out.
