Wichita State guard Conner Frankamp was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Sunday, The Wichita Eagle reports.

Frankamp, who began his college career at Kansas, announced he was transferring to Wichita State last month. He is sitting out this semester and the first semester of next season during the transfer process.

The 19-year-old was arrested early Sunday in Wichita.

Frankamp was arrested at 12:33 a.m. Sunday at Kellogg and Maize, Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza said. He was also cited for “improper driving on laned roadway” and “unsafe turning or stopping,” according to a booking report released by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.

Frankamp averaged 2.5 points in 8.3 minutes per game last season as a freshman for the Jayhawks. He played his high school basketball at Wichita North and is the all-time leading scorer in the Wichita City League with 2,231 points.
