BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) Tyrell Nelson's tip-in with two seconds left pushed Gardner-Webb past Coastal Carolina 66-64 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (14-9, 6-4 Big South) trailed 60-54 after Warren Gillis made two free throws for Coastal Carolina. Nelson then made six straight points to tie the score at 60-all with 2:14 left to play. Both teams traded points to keep the score tied until Jerome Hill's layup put Gardner-Webb ahead with 25 seconds to go.

Elijah Wilson answered on the other end, hitting a jumper to tie the score again with 13 seconds left. Tyler Strange took a shot from distance that didn't drop, and Nelson grabbed the offensive board and tipped it in for the win.

Badou Diagne led the Chanticleers (15-7, 6-4) with 15 points.
