Five-star shooting guard Tyler Dorsey has verbally committed to Oregon, reports CBS Sports.

Dorsey, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound recruit from Pasadena, Calif. (Maranatha), also visited Arizona State, Cal, Colorado and Kansas. He also held offers from Arizona, UConn, Duke, Georgetown, Kentucky, Louisville and several other schools. Dorsey initially gave a verbal commit to Arizona last January before decommitting in June.

Dorsey is ranked as the No. 19 prospect in the class of 2015 by Rivals.com and is the highest-rated member of Oregon's three-player 2015 recruiting class, joining four-star point guard Kendall Small and three-star center Trevor Manuel.

Rivals' Eric Bossi has the following scouting report on Dorsey:

High scoring lead guard has excellent size and is capable of playing as a point or shooting guard. Scores from deep, off the dribble and at the rim. Rebounds extremely well for a guard who is as prolific a scorer as he is.

Dorsey is averaging 34.0 points this season, and in a recent four-game stretch he scored 43, 40, 49 and 40 points, according to the Los Angeles Times. Oregon coach Dana Altman also watched him play over the weekend.
