Utah coach Kyle Whittingham rearranges coaching staff

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Utah coach Kyle Whittingham has announced several changes to his staff, including new offensive and defensive coordinators.

Running backs coach Dennis Erickson is adding assistant head coach to his title while quarterbacks coach Aaron Roderick and offensive line coach Jim Harding were named co-offensive coordinators Monday.

John Pease came out of retirement to take over the defensive coordinator position while Justin Ena will coach linebackers. Safeties coach and recruiting coordinator Morgan Scalley will head special teams.

Pease will also coach the defensive line.

Ena joins the staff after being the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Weber State in 2014.
