Syracuse beats Virginia Tech on last-second shot by Michael Gbinije

Syracuse defeated Virginia Tech 72-70 in an ACC game Tuesday at the Carrier Dome on this last-second shot from Michael Gbinije. 

Gbinije found the bottom of the net with 0.1 seconds remaining and capped a 13-point comeback for the Orange. He drew a foul but missed the free throw.

Syracuse trailed 63-50 as late as the 5:35 mark of the second half but outscored the Hokies 22-7 down the stretch thanks to eight Virginia Tech turnovers.

Syracuse improved to 15-7 and 6-3 in the ACC. Virginia Tech fell to 9-13 and 1-8 in conference play.
