Drummond scores 20; Toledo routs E. Michigan 84-60

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) Justin Drummond hit all seven of his field goals on his way to 20 points, and each Toledo starter reached double figures in an 84-60 rout of Eastern Michigan on Wednesday night.

Toledo (14-8, 6-3 Mid-American Conference) has won four straight, and with Central Michigan's (15-4, 5-3) overtime loss to Bowling Green, now has a one-game lead over the Chippewas for first place in the west division.

J.D. Weatherspoon and Julius Brown each scored 15 points, Nathan Boothe had 13 and Jonathan Williams chipped in 10 for the Rockets, who shot 52 percent. Weatherspoon grabbed nine rebounds, Brown had six assists and Williams dished out another five.

Toledo hit its first six shots to jump out to a 14-4 lead, stretched it to 20 points midway through the first half and was never threatened.

Mike Talley had 18 points and Raven Lee 15 to lead Eastern Michigan (14-8, 3-6).
