Anderson suffered the injury during No. 3 Virginia's 52-47 win against No. 9 Louisville on Saturday.
The Cavaliers' leading scorer, Anderson sustained the injury in the first half and spent the entire second half near the end of Virginia's bench with his hand wrapped.
In 16 minutes, Andersen scored two points on 1-of-9 shooting and added four rebounds.
He entered the game as Virginia's leading scorer with 13.9 points per game.
The win gave the Cavaliers (21-1) back-to-back victories against top-15 opponents for the first time since 2004. They will next play at N.C. State on Wednesday.
