Former Tennessee linebacker A.J. Johnson and suspended Tennessee cornerback Michael Williams have been indicted in a rape investigation, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel

Johnson and Williams were both named as suspects last November after two incidences of rape and sexual assault allegedly committed at Johnson's off-campus apartment. The players were then suspended from the team. Williams remains suspended, while Johnson graduated from the university in December, according to The Tennessean

Johnson's attorney told The Tennessean that Johnson "has been cooperative with law enforcement. We expect a favorable outcome."

Johnson is considered an NFL draft prospect and has been invited to the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine. In his Tennessee career, he had 425 tackles, three sacks, one interception and three forced fumbles.
