ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) Jordan Downing made a steal and scored for the lead and then hit two free throws with 15 seconds remaining to give Presbyterian a 69-65 upset win over UNC Asheville on Thursday night that dropped the Bulldogs out of a four-way first-play tie in the Big South.

Asheville (13-12, 9-5) rallied from 15 points down to take a 55-53 lead before extending it to 59-54. Presbyterian's DeSean Murray twice hit a pair of free throws to tie the game at 63-all and 65-all.

After Downing's layup with 1:04 left, Asheville's Andrew Rowsey missed a 3-pointer and Will Truss came up with the ball for the Blue Hose after a scramble under the basket. Downing then added the game's final points.

Murray led Presbyterian (9-17, 5-8) with 21 points. The Blue Hose won for the first time at Asheville since joining the Big South after five losses.

Rowsey finished with 24 points.
