Leissner's double-double helps send UNH to another win 66-48

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) Tanner Leissner scored 14 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds and New Hampshire defeated Binghamton 66-48 on Saturday.

Matt Miller hit 4 of 6 3-point attempts in also scoring 14 points. Daniel Dion added 12 points and Joe Bramanti 11.

The Wildcats (16-10, 9-4 America East), amid their best season in 20 years, have won three straight and 10 out of their last 12.

Marlon Beck II, Bobby Ahearn and Yosef Yacob scored 10 points each for the Bearcats (4-24, 3-10), who have lost four straight.

The Wildcats led 30-23 at halftime and began the second half with a 15-2 run, including eight of Jacoby Armstrong's nine points, to extend their lead to 45-25 with 14:30 remaining. The Bearcats didn't get closer than 12 points thereafter.

The Wildcats made 7 of 16 3-point attempts, shooting 40.7 percent overall. They outrebounded the Bearcats 45-32. Binghamton shot just 27.8 percent.
