Delaware upsets William & Mary 73-70

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) Marvin King-Davis made two free throws with 15 seconds remaining for the winning points as Delaware upset William & Mary 73-70 on Saturday.

The Blue Hens let a 15-point halftime lead get away, but never trailed. They swept the season series from the Tribe and beat William & Mary for the ninth straight time.

Marcus Thornton drove for a layup to get the Tribe within 72-70 with 9.2 seconds left. Kory Holden made 1 of 2 free throws for Delaware before Thornton missed a difficult 3-point try as time expired.

William & Mary (16-9, 10-4) remained in first place in the Colonial Athletic Association but lost sole possession of the top spot. The loss snapped a 14-game home winning streak. Thornton scored 27 points and Omar Prewitt added 25.

The Blue Hens (7-18, 6-8) got 15 points apiece from Kory Holden, Kyle Anderson and Cazmon Hayes. Chivarsky Corbett grabbed 11 rebounds.
