Incarnate Word beats Central Arkansas 77-67

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) Denzel Livingston scored 31 points, his second straight 30-plus game, to help Incarnate Word beat Central Arkansas 77-67 on Friday night.

It was Livingston's fifth game with at least 30 points this season.

He was 10 of 20 from the field and made all 10 of his free throw attempts.

Kyle Hittle had 17 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season for Incarnate Word (15-6, 7-4 Southland). The Cardinals have won six of their last seven games after making 50 percent of their shots against the Bears.

Central Arkansas (1-21, 1-10) has lost back-to-back games after posting its first win of the season over New Orleans.

Jordan Howard led the Bears with 17 points and Mike Martin added 15 points.

Howard's 3-pointer capped a 9-3 run to get Central Arkansas within 71-65 with 2:42 left, but the Bears would not get any closer.
