Memphis rolls over South Florida, 75-48

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) Shaq Goodwin scored 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field and added 9 rebounds to help lead Memphis to a convincing 75-48 victory over South Florida on Saturday.

Avery Woodson added 11 points for Memphis (15-10, 7-5 American Conference), which has won eight straight overall against South Florida and seven consecutive in Tampa.

Memphis shot 45 percent from the field, held an 18-8 advantage in total assists, and outscored the Bulls 35-6 off the bench.

Memphis trailed just once, very early in the first half, and held a 31-21 lead at halftime. The Tigers had a 24-4 run midway through the second have to push their lead past 20.

Ruben Guerrero led South Florida (7-19, 1-12) with 17 points, six boards, and three blocks. The Bulls have lost 11 straight, and have just one win since the calendar turned to 2015.
