DENVER (AP) DavRon Williams scored 15 points and added seven rebounds to help lead IUPUI to a 54-53 come-from-behind win over Denver on Saturday.

The Jaguars trailed by 10 at the break, but battled back to take their first lead of the second half on a Williams layup with 2:53 to play. The game then descended into a battle of free throws with each team hitting 5 of 6 down the stretch, but Denver could never make up the one point difference.

Khufu Najee added 10 points and six boards for IUPUI (9-17, 5-7 Summit League), which snapped a four game losing streak, its second longest of the season. The Jaguars are now 7-3 this season in games decided by five points or less.

Brett Olsen scored 18 points to lead Denver (10-15, 4-8). The Pioneers have lost five of their last six.
