Thomas with 20, leads Fordham past Saint Joseph's 69-55

NEW YORK (AP) Mandell Thomas had six assists and 20 points, leading four players in double figures as Fordham rolled to a 69-55 victory over Saint Joseph's on Sunday.

Thomas was 7 of 13 from the floor. Christian Sengfelder scored 15 points with nine rebounds, Bryan Smith had 12 points and Eric Paschall chipped in 10. Ryan Rhoomes grabbed 11 boards for Fordham (7-16, 2-10 Atlantic 10), which outrebounded Saint Joseph's 40-27.

Fordham built a 31-26 halftime lead, stretched it to 48-36 with 12:46 to play and cruised from there. The Rams have won two of their last three games since snapping a nine-game losing streak.

DeAndre Bembry scored 18 points on 7-of-18 shooting, and Isaiah Miles had 12 points to lead Saint Joseph's (11-13, 5-7 Atlantic 10). Chris Wilson dished out five assists for the Hawks, who drop to tenth place in the conference.
