Watch: UCF guard B.J. Taylor hits late layup to beat Houston

Central Florida freshman guard B.J. Taylor converted a layup with less than three seconds remaining to lift the Knights to a two-point win over Houston on Sunday.

CentralFlorida freshman guard B.J. Taylor converted a layup with less than three seconds remaining to lift the Knights to a two-point win over Houston on Sunday.

With the score tied at 54, Taylor drove past his man near the three-point line and tossed the ball off the glass and in as he collided with a Cougars big man.

Houston inbounded the ball quickly but guard L.J. Rose briefly lost control of the ball couldn't get a shot off before time expired.

The win improved UCF to 11-13 (4-9 American) and dropped Houston to 9-15 (1-11 American).
