NEWARK, N.J. (AP) Damon Lynn scored 23 and Winfield Willis added 20 on 8-of-10 shooting to help NJIT beat Maine-Fort Kent 89-55 Monday night and match the program's highest win total since moving to Division I in 2006-07.

Lynn, who came into the game leading the nation in both 3-pointers made (99), made a season-high seven 3's for NJIT (16-11), which went 16-13 in the 2012-13 season. Lynn is just one 3-point field goal shy of his own school record, which he set as a freshman last season.

NJIT took a 15-point advantage into halftime and a 3 by Lynn gave the Highlanders a 59-33 lead with 15:37 to play.

Mauro Vicic and Joe McCloskey led Maine-Fort Kent, a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, with 13 points apiece. McCloskey added 12 rebounds.
