VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) Willie Rodriguez made 8 of 14 field goals and scored 18 points to lead Binghamton to a 57-55 win over Vermont on Wednesday night.

Bobby Ahearn had 12 points and seven rebounds for Binghamton (5-24, 4-10 America East), which committed just four turnovers - its fewest since moving to Division I in 2001. Romello Walker added 10 points.

A layup by Ethan O'Day pulled Vermont within 54-52, but Beck made 3 of 6 free throws over the next 27 seconds to make it 57-52 with 10 seconds remaining.

Dre Wills hit a 3 to pull Vermont (16-11, 11-3) within two but, after Binghamton's Yosef Yacob missed two free throws, Cam Ward missed a potential winning 3 as time expired.
