UCF powers past Tulane, 69-55

NEW ORLEANS (AP) Kasey Wilson scored 20 points, including tying a career-high with five 3-pointers, and added seven rebounds to help lead UCF to a 69-55 victory over Tulane on Thursday night.

B.J. Taylor finished with 16 points and Adonys Henriquez added 15 points for UCF (12-13, 5-9 American Athletic), which shot 53.3 percent from the field and hit 12 3-pointers. Overall, the Knights are 7-0 this season when shooting better than 50 percent.

UCF ended the first half on a 13-4 run, capped off by a Wilson 3 to take a 34-24 lead into the locker room. The Knights lead grew to as many as 16 late in the second half.

Jonathan Stark scored 15 points and dished out seven assists to lead Tulane (14-11, 5-8), which has lost five straight at home and six of its last seven overall.
