Colorado St. tops Air Force 66-53 behind Bejarano and Avila

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) Daniel Bejarano scored 20 points and J.J. Avila added 18 to lead Colorado to a 66-53 win over Air Force on Saturday.

Joe De Ciman added 12 points for the Rams (23-5, 10-5 Mountain West).

Marek Olesinski led the Falcons (12-14, 5-10) with 11 points.

Avila, De Ciman and Bejarano made 3-pointers on consecutive possessions and Bajarano added a layup on the next possession to give Colorado State a 24-13 lead. Dejarano had three of CSU's six first-half 3-pointers, his ninth game with at least three treys, as the Rams led 39-26 at the half. Avila had 16 points, his seventh straight game of at least 15 points.

Colorado State led by 17 almost six minutes into the second half when Bejarano hit another 3. He finished 5 of 6 behind the line. Air Force got within nine on Olesinski's 3-pointer with 6:36 left but got no closer.
