Dalembert; James Madison beat College of Charleston 68-61

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) Yohanny Dalembert scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead James Madison to a 68-61 win over College of Charleston on Sunday to move into a first place tie in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Dalembert was 11 of 14 from the free throw line as James Madison converted 24 of 35 overall compared to 8-of-9 shooting for Charleston.

Winston Grays had 13 points and Jackson Kent added 10 for James Madison (18-11, 11-5).

Joe Chealey made all seven of his free throws and finished with 19 points for Charleston (8-21, 3-13). Cameron Johnson added 13 points.

Johnson hit a 3-pointer with 2:10 left in the game to pull Charleston within 62-56. James Madison scored the next four points on six free throw attempts to build its cushion.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday but was postponed due to winter storm conditions.
