Hornsby, Sacramento State beat North Dakota, 74-66

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Nick Hornsby had 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, and Mikh McKinney scored 16 Saturday night to help Sacramento State beat North Dakota 74-66 and move into a tie with Montana atop the Big Sky Conference standings.

Zach Mills added 13 points and Dylan Garrity scored 12 on 4-of-4 shooting - including three from behind the arc - for Sacramento State (18-8, 12-3), which improved to 13-1 at home and tied the school's record for home wins in a season.

Back-to-back 3's by McKinney sparked a 17-8 run which made it 56-46 with 7:57 to play and the Hornets, who committed just seven turnovers, led by at least six the rest of the way.

Quinton Hooker led North Dakota (8-18, 4-11) with 20 points. Jaron Nash added 17 points.

Sacramento State made 8 of 11 (season-high 73 percent) from 3-point range, while UND hit 6 of 22 from deep.
