CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) Virginia sophomore point guard London Perrantes broke his nose and sustained a concussion in a collision with teammate Malcolm Brogdon on Sunday.

Perrantes is listed as day to day by the second-ranked Cavaliers. They next play at Wake Forest on Wednesday.

Cavaliers coach Tony Bennett said Perrantes wanted to return to Sunday night's game against Florida State, even though his nose appeared broken. Perrantes was injured while playing defense in the second half of a 51-41 victory. Both players headed to the locker room. Brogdon returned to the game, Perrantes did not.

The Cavaliers struggled and fell behind after the injuries. But a reverse layup by seldom-used guard Devon Hall gave them back the lead and they rallied for their sixth consecutive victory.
