Virginia PG London Perrantes ruled out for game at Wake Forest

Virginiaannounced on Wednesday that sophomore point guard London Perrantes will not play in Wednesday's game at Wake Forest.

Perrantes was listed as day-to-day after sustaining a concussion and broken nose in a collision with teammate Malcolm Brogdon during a win over Florida State on Sunday.

The second-ranked Cavaliers are also playing without guard Justin Anderson, who is recovering from a fractured finger suffered Feb. 7 against Louisville.

Perrantes is averaging 5.9 points, 4.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game this season.

Virginia has won six consecutive games since losing to Duke at home on Jan. 31.

The Cavaliers (25-1, 13-1 ACC) lead the Blue Devils and Notre Dame by two games for first place in the conference standings.
