Central Arkansas wins 2nd game, beats SE Louisiana 74-72

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) Mike Martin made two crucial free throws in the final 36 seconds to finish with 17 points and lead Central Arkansas to its second win of the season, a 74-72 victory over Southeastern Louisiana in Southland Conference play on Saturday.

Martin, who was 6 of 13 from the floor, made 11 of his points in the second half. Jordan Howard made 4 of 10 from long range for 17 points and Mathieu Kamba added 12 for Central Arkansas (2-24, 2-13). UCA's only other win was a 70-67 victory over New Orleans on February 7.

Southeastern Louisiana was ahead throughout the second half until Martin nailed a 3-pointer with 3:19 left to give Central Arkansas a 65-62 advantage. UCA made 20 of 31 free throw attempts.

Cedric Jenkins made 10 of 20 field goals for 21 points and Jimmie Duplessis added 16 for Southeastern Louisiana (9-19, 6-9).
