Eastern Michigan holds on to beat Ball State 67-60

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) Raven Lee scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half as Eastern Michigan held on to beat Ball State 67-60 on Tuesday night.

Eastern Michigan led throughout the second half but Ball State's Bo Calhoun drove for a layup and hit a jumper to start a 15-4 run as the Cardinals closed to 61-58 with 37 seconds left. Mike Talley, Karrington Ward and Anali Okoloji made the needed free throws to seal the win and hand Ball State its 15th straight loss.

Talley was 9 of 9 from the free throw line for 16 points and Ward added 12 points for Eastern Michigan (18-12, 7-10 Mid-American Conference).

EMU, which had a 35-24 lead at the break, shot 50 percent in the first half while holding the Cardinals to 7-of-23 shooting. The Eagles finished 6 of 15 from distance.

Franko House and Calhoun had 13 apiece for led Ball State (7-21, 2-15).
