Duke, Wisconsin headline 2015 2K Classic championship round

Duke, Wisconsin, Georgetown and VCU will compete in the championship round of the 2015 2K Classic at Madison Square Garden, the tournament announced.

Duke, Wisconsin, Georgetown and VCU will compete in the championship round of the 2015 2K Classic at Madison Square Garden, the tournament announced on Wednesday.

The tournament, which is set to take place in November, will mark Duke's third appearance and Georgetown's second appearance in the event. Duke won the title back in 2008. Meanwhile, both Georgetown and VCU will be playing in the classic for the first time.

Texas won the 2014 tournament after defeating California in the final.

The 2K Classic, which benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, has been going on since 1995.

Duke, currently ranked No. 2 in the AP Top 25, is set to play the winner of NC State and Pittsburgh in its first ACC tournament game. Wisconsin, currently No. 6 nationally, will play the winner of Illinois and Michigan in its first Big Ten tournament contest.
